My wife and I have started to get more and more into hiking as well as doing day hikes. As we have gotten older, I have often thought about getting some trekking poles. When the opportunity came about to try these poles out I couldn't pass up on the opportunity.

These poles came in a 2 pack and are very lightweight. I love how they came with additional pieces for the bottom of the poles for hiking in the mud or even the snow. The shafts of the pole are made of carbon fiber and are very strong. I can't wait to get these out with us for our next hike, just to give us that added stability while hiking.

These trekking poles can be adjusted in height to suit just about anyones needs and the hand grips are super comfortable. They even have a strap on the handle that will fit around your wrist just in case you were to loose your footing you won't loose your pole.

I can already tell that I am going to have to order another pair for us to use.

OLALA 10500mAh 2-Port Power Bank with Quick Charge 3.0

I am all about convenience and these days we all cary our phones with us. Well there are times when we have our phones, but no charger available when our phone is on the brink of loosing power. So when this 10500mah power bank became available I knew I wanted to try it out.

This power bank is very compact and in a aluminum shell that will help protect it with everyday usage. It has 4 small white LED's in the upper left corner that will display what power you have available .

It has 1 micro USB input ( Cable Provided ) and 2 USB outputs. USB 1 is @ 2.4 amp and USB 2 is a Quick Charge 3.0 port, If your phone does not support Quick Charge 3.0 like mine, It then defaults to 2.4 amps. I hooked up my new Moto Z Force when it was at 83% and in 30 min I was at 100%. I was able to get 3 charges out of this power bank and my phone was at full capacity in no time.

Droiee Laser Christmas Light with RF Remote Control

My Wife wanted to get a light projector so that we can use it outside during the holidays. I have always liked having Christmas lights hung, but being in a split level home and my fear of heights, we haven't had Christmas lights out for a long time. I came across this one and decided to give it a try!

I really like how we can adjust the projection angle and how we can install either a spike ( Spike is made of Metal not plastic! ) to be pushed into the ground or we can have it mounted on a base. It comes with a remote that can be activated up to 65ft away. With the remote you can just turn on the Red or Green laser or you can have them both on. You also can put this unit into a flash mode which is what we will be doing.

When I plugged this in, my wife absolutely loved it and can't wait to put it outside. I love how when you turn this on you can select a timer interval as to how long this unit will stay on ( 2,4,6,8 hrs ). Living here in the Pacific Northwest it is our wet season and I am thrilled that this projector is water/snow and sun resistant ( not that we get a lot of sun during the winter ).

The only thing I really didn't care for and feel they could make improvements on was the remote itself. Not only does it have a retractable antenna, but you had to press buttons sometimes several times before the unit would implement what you had chosen. I also wish that they would have included a way to increase the speed of the flashing.

All in all this is a good light projector that can be used outdoors and Indoors.

My wife and I are always out and about at night time whether it's taking the dog out or collecting firewood and having to deal with a handheld flashlight is a royal pain.

We have had several headlamps in the past and the batteries just never seemed to last. This headlamp having a rechargeable battery is what attracted me right off the bat.

The ShiRui headlamp is super bright and very comfortable to wear. It has adjustable straps so that you can get it adjusted to your head or even over a hard hat for work. It Has 3 T6 LED Bulbs and has 4 different modes of operation. 1^st mode is Center light only, 2^nd Mode is just the 2 outside lights. 3^rd mode is all 3 LED's and 4^th Mode is All 3 LED's strobing. On the back of the head band is a RED led that comes on when you turn the headlamp on.

This headlamp would be perfect for those who love to camp, hike, work outside at night or for just all around use around the house such as attic work or crawling under a sink to fix a pipe. I also like the fact that I can adjust the headlamp in a 90 degree downward position.

I have been searching for bicycle lights that are rechargeable and don't require having to use alkaline batteries. I have also been looking for a light that will actually fit my bike due to other accessories I have mounted.

I absolutely Love this Light as it can be mounted either horizontal or vertical depending on your needs. It is a super bright light and has 6 modes of operation which are Off, Solid White, Solid Red, Quick Flash White, Slow Flash White and strobing Red and White.

This light is going to allow us to be seen by vehicles oncoming and from behind which increases our safety due to us being on the road.

Stereo Earphones In-Ear Headphones Mobile Phone Earphone Earbuds with Microphone Noise Canceling for Sport's

I have been looking for some wired headphones as I wear them almost all day long for driving and I use my bluetooth ones while I am working. My current set of earbuds are a hard plastic and hurt my ears after being in for a period of time. When these became available I wanted to try them as they looked liked they would be good.

ANTSIR Dynamic Lighting Projector

My Wife wanted to get a light projector so that we can use it outside during the holidays. I came across this one and decided to give it a try! If we didn't like it, we could always return it for a refund.

We really like this light projector from Antsir. I really like how we can adjust the projection angle and how we can install either a spike to be pushed into the ground or we can have it mounted on a base. On the back of the projector you have 2 buttons. The first button allows you to change the color of the stars. You can have Green, Red or a mixture of Green and Red Stars. The second button is either steady stars or rotating.

When I plugged this in, my wife absolutely loved it and can't wait to put it outside. I love how when you turn this on it has a built in timer that will let the projector run for 6 hrs and then it stays turned off for 18 hours. Living here in the Pacific Northwest it is our wet season and I am thrilled that this projector is water/snow and sun resistant ( not that we get a lot of sun during the winter ).

Multi-Purpose Utility Scissors for Chicken, Poultry, Fish, Meat, Vegetables, Herbs, and BBQ’s

I have been looking for replacement Kitchen Shears for quite awhile now and these came up for evaluation. The plastic that was covering the handle part of our shears was beginning to break apart.

Right off the bat the shears felt good in the hands and were very comfortable. They are very sharp and I love that they are made of high quality stainless steel and I wont have to worry about them rusting.

There is a built in bottle opener on one of the blades and in between the handles is a lid/cap opener for those stubborn twist off caps. All in all I am very pleased with these and now I feel I can discontinue my search for a good quality pair of kitchen shears.

MONOLIT 100PCS Heat Shrink Butt Connectors Kit

I do a lot of electrical work for my job, at home, for family and friends and even on my cars. I recently had the opportunity to evaluate this Heat Shrink Butt Connector set.

I always want to make sure to make my spliced connections as water tight as possible. You never know when they could come in contact with moisture. Having a butt splice that has heat shrink built into it is awesome. It shrinks up very nicely to wit wires, The only thing I would suggest is to follow up with some electrical tape wire to wire, completely covering the butt connector.

The butt connectors are great for on the job, home repairs, automotive and marine repairs. If you do any type of repair work on wiring, I would definitely recommend these.
