I received this 8000mah power bank and
am quite pleased with it! The unit I received was Blue metallic. It is
quite sleek looking with a metal cover that will keep the product
protected. The unit arrived in a nice box that had a foam protector
surrounding the unit. A micro USB to USB cable is included for
charging the power bank as well as a mesh bag that the power bank
goes in. This can be put in a woman's purse and they not have a worry
about it damaging anything.
The power bank arrived with about a 75%
charge and I proceeded to charge it up the remainder of the way.
There are 4 LED's that tell you the percentage of charge that the
unit has left. When all four of the LED's are solid the unit has 100%
charge. As mentioned previously by other's, it has a 1A output and a
2.1A output. Just plug your cable into a desired output and the unit
starts charging as the unit turns on automatically. By Pressing the
switch twice in quick succession you are able to turn the flashlight
on, press the button twice again and the flashlight turns off.
I Plugged my iPhone 6 plus in @ 40% in
the 2.1A output and it took approximately 3hrs 30min to get to 100%.
After charging the phone and maybe charging 15% on the kindle, there
was about 50% charge left on the pack.
The only downfall to this unit is it's
user manual. It is not very well written and made no mention of what
the on/off switch is for nor how to turn on/off the flashlight. The
manual states that when the unit is is charging the LED's will flash
which is true, but then it says when it is fully charged that they
will disappear ( not sure if they mean stop flashing or go out
altogether ). All the LED's were lit solid after charging overnight
but never went off.
For the price this is a great value and
this power bank now has a date with my wife's purse!
